Grace A. Beachy, 77, of Grantsville, died at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born at the Cove, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Cora Alice (Speicher) Kamp.
Survivors: Her husband, Forrest Beachy; a son, Kenneth Beachy, of here; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Merrill and Mrs. Wanda Sheffield, both of here, and Mrs. Helen Berhard, Washington; two brothers, Often Kamp, of here, and Robert Kamp, Shallow Water, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Otto, of here; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Grantsville; the church Women's Guild, New Germany Homemaker's Club and Gold Star Mothers.
The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services conducted from St. John's Church, with Rev. Ernest Rumbaugh, and Rev. Earl Harper officiating. Interment will be in the Grantsville cemetery. [Garrett Co., MD Obits - (Obit hand dated July 6, 1974)]
