Miss McCarthy, who died in a bicycle/automobile accident. Very sad day for many of her classmates and family. She was very loved and adored.
She was born Jan. 21, 1960, in Detroit. She came to Alaska in 1965 with her family, residing first in Anchorage. She was an honor Student at Palmer HIgh School and a member of the Catholic Youth Orginization at the church.
She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCarthy; a brother, Robert; two sisters, Regina and Deborah, all of Palmer; her paternal grandfather, Leo J. McCarthy, of Michigan; and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cormier of Canada.
