William Albert Oglesby, age 90, died Saturday, July 4, 1992, at the Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie.
He is survived by four sons, James Douglas Oglesby, Escondido, Calif.; William Mills Oglesby, Leonardtown, Md.; Albert Micajah Oglesby, Putney, Vt.; Francis Clyde Oglesby, Princeton, N.J.; one stepson, Charles A. Keister, Bristol; one stepdaughter, Lillian K. Rexford, Topeka, Kan.; one brother, Frank L. Oglesby, Kingsport, Tenn.; ten grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 Wednesday, July 7, at the Glade Spring Presbyterian Church at Old Glade with the Rev. Delacy Allen Andrews, Jr., officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the Sparta Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sparta, N.J., with the Rev. Dr.David R. Aaronson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Williams Funeral Home, Chilhowie. The body will be take to the church one hour before services.
