Jerald Clive Atwood, age 60, passed away on August 14, 2011 in Salt Lake City, UT.

He was born April 2, 1951 in Provo, UT to Clive and Afton Atwood. He married Rebecca Anita Chacon on October 11, 1969 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 20, 1978.

Jerry enjoyed and loved hunting, fishing, working, taking care of his MANY animal friends house pets or not, but most of all the family time with wife, sons, daughters, and loveable grandchildren.

He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for twenty-seven years and he thoroughly enjoyed what he did so much that he would arrive one hour before his shift and waited drinking a Pepsi.

He lived with depression for twenty-six years but it did not stop him from doing all the things he loved. He was known for being a strong, loveable person. His grandchildren were the motivation he needed to keep on walking and playing all the silly games. His four sons were his pride and joy but his sweetheart Becky was his best friend and the love of his life.

He is survived by his parents Clive and Afton, his loving jewel Becky, his sons Shane, Jeremy, Dustin, and Nicholas; his daughters-in-law Evelyn and Carrie; and his grandchildren: Evelyn, Princess, Christopher, Dominic, Devin, Izabelle, and Rozelyn Atwood. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jennie and Hyrum Atwood, Vera and Eldon Singleton.

"We love you sweetheart, dad, grandpa! You'll be missed"
