who died Tuesday morning,
April 19,1983 in a Bluefield
hospital of natural causes
were conducted Friday,
April 22, at Rodriquez-
Pocahontas Union Funeral
Home in Pocahontas.
Rev. John Belcher and
Rev. B.C. Burton officiated
the services. Burial was in
Grandview Memory Gardens
on Bluefield-Tazewell
Born in Swords Creek, he
was a retired employee of
Pocahontas Fuel Company.
He was preceded in death
by two brothers and two sisters
Survivors include one son,
John Paul Jackson of
Roanoke, one daughter,
Mrs. Lowell (Fern) Carter
of Johnson City, TN; four
grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Nephews served as
pallbearers.
