Elizabeth Gray, who has been confined to her bed with lung disease for 3 weeks, died at her residence, in this place, at 10 o'clock on last Tuesday night, aged 59 years. The deceased was born in Virginia, and while quite young moved with her parents to Kentucky, where they resided for a few years, and then moved to Illinois, and finally to this county in 1830. Mrs. Gray was a most excellent lady, and had the respect and confidence of all who knew her. Her many friends watched over her during her late illness and did all in their power to alleviate her sufferings and stay the destroyer - death, but everything seemed to be against her recovery. The funeral services will take place this morning from the family residence at 10 a.m., and all relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend without further notice.
