A life long resident of Clay City, dying at her residence Monday morning. Surviving are the husband, Marcus R; her mother, Mrs Mathilda Frazier and her stepfather, Ott Fraizer-Clay City. One son, Kenneth Cooprider-Zionsville; a sister, Mrs Ross Navel-Clay City; a half sister, Miss Dosh Fraizer-Bridgeport; a brother, Robert Shields-Jackson, Mich; a half brother, Elsworth Fraizer-Indianapolis.

Cora Shields was the daughter of Freborn Shield and Mary Matilda McKee Shields (who later married Otto Frazier). Cora married Marcus Cooprider 6 March 1915
