Mrs. Joseph Kolancheck, 83, of route 3, Manitowoc, died this morning at the homestead farm, now operated by her son, Frederick. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the First German Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. L.H. Koeninger will officiate and internment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Born Augusta Dickert in Germany in 1863, she came to this county 20 years later. Fifty-seven years ago she was married to Gottlieb Pautz. He died 45 years ago. Later she was married to Mr. Kolanchek (sic).
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Peter Strupp, Mrs. Alex Pieck, Mrs. Alvin Krumm of this city, Mrs. George Hein of Detroit, Mrs. Reinhart Grimm of Reedsville; four sons, Otto Pautz of Sheboygan, Frederick Pautz on the home farm, Emil Pautz of Lancaster, Pa., John Kolancheck of this city, 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed after 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
