Joseph Kolancheck, 63, pioneer Newton resdident, passed away Friday night at the hospital here, where he has been a patient. He has been ill two weeks. Burial will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at two from the German Lutheran church.
The deceased was born in Newton in 1869 and always made his home there. He was married to Miss Augusta Pautz who survives him with five daughters, Mrs. Alvin Krumm, Mrs. Peter Strupp, Mrs. Peter Stephani, all of this city, Mrs. Alex Rieck, Green Bay, Mrs. Reinhardt Grimm, Reedsville, and four sons, Otto Pautz, Sheboygan, Fred Pautz, Newton, Emil Pautz, city, and John Kolancheck, city. A brother and sister also survive.
The remains may be viewed after tomorrow at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home.
