Charles David Dougan, 52, died at his home on R. D. 4 at 2:45 a.m. Monday from a heart ailment from which he had suffered for six months.

A farmer, he had moved to this community five and a half years ago from Edinburg. He was born at Clarion, Pa., on January 4, 1890.

His widow, Laverna, and the following children survive; Herbert, Lloyd, Mrs. Grace Copeland, June Dougan and Mrs. Irene Murphy, all of R.D. 4; also his mother, Mrs. Anna Kofod and step-father, Herman Kofod of Jamestown, N.Y., and five grandcholdren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Milo Farmer of Lexington Methodist Church from the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Wednesday.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday.
