(1926-2011) Dorothy "Dottie" Jean Nap, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away August 17, 2011 at Life Care Center of Grandview. Visitation will be held from 10:00- 11:00 am Monday, August 22, 2011 at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Dottie was born May 12, 1926 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Clarence and Nell Vielbig. Dottie graduated from Westport High School in 1944. She was married for 49 years to Harold "Ken" Nap before his death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by her sons James Richard and Randal Gary Nap. Dottie is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Nap) Kimball and husband Gene Kimball, daughters-in-law Patty and Mary Pat Nap, sister Norma Paris, brother James Richard Vielbig, four grandsons; Sabre Ryan and Gary David Nap and Barney Michael and Travis Kenneth McCoy, two great grandchildren; Nicolas and Ian McCoy, as well as nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at Life Care Center of Grandview and Crossroads Hospice of Kansas City for providing compassionate care in her final days.
