HOWARD CHASE DIES - WELL KNOWN YOUNG MAN EXPIRED OF LINGERING ILLNESS DECEMBER 26.
Howard Ray Chase, aged 31 years, died at 8:45 a. m. Monday at his home, 80 East Arndt street, after an illness of several months duration.

He was an active member of the Men's class of the Division Street M. E. church, a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, and also of the Machinist's Union.

He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Olive Harriet; one son, Leonard Howard; his father, William Chase; one brother, William C. Chase [b. 20 Mar 1891 Knapp, Dunn Co, WI], all of this city.

The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday from the Division Street M. E. church. The Rev. W. P. Leek will officiate and burial will take place in Reinzi cemetery.

CHASE FUNERAL HELD - WELL KNOWN LOCAL MAN IS BURIED AT RIENZI FOLLOWING CHURCH SERVICE.
The funeral of Howard R. Chase was held at 1:30 p. m. today from the family residence, 80 East Arndt street, and at 2 from the Division Street M. E. church. The Rev. W. P. Leek officiated and burial took place in Rienzi cemetery.

The pallbearers were Charles, Leonard, George and E. C. Chase, Elton McCullough and Harry Dolson, all cousins of the deceased.

Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. Thorpe rendered vocal numbers at the service, accompanied at the organ by Miss Ruby Flannery.
Those from out of town who attended were Albert Griener, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Griener, Mrs. George Staeger and Joe Stroup, Theresa; Mrs. Hattie Bessex, Oshkosh, and Miss Florence Griener and Eugene Chase, Chicago.

Errors: Griener [Greiner], Staeger [Steger], and Stroup [Strupp].

COUSINS ACT AS PALL BEARERS - Funeral of Howard R. Chase Held This Afternoon - BURIAL IN RIENZI CEMETERY
The funeral of Howard R. Chase was held at 1:30 this afternoon from the residence, 80 East Arndt street, and at 2 o'clock from the Division Street M. E. Church, the Rev. W. P. Leek officiating. The music was furnished by Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. Thorpe with Miss Ruby Flannery at the organ. Six cousins of Mr. Chase acted as bearers. They are Charles, Leonard, George and E. C. Chase, Elten McCullough and Harry Dalson. Burial was in Rienzi cemetery.

Those who came from away to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Peter Griener, Mrs. George Staeger, Joseph Strupp, and Albert Griener, of Theresa; Mrs. Hattie Bessex, of Oshkosh; Miss Florence Griener and Eugene Chase of Chicago.
