James Edward Bailey, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Bailey, Decatur, died yesterday in St. Mary's hospital from burns received Saturday when a can of crankcase drainings exploded in the family garage. He was born March 9, 1938, in Decatur. He was in the third grade at Washington grade school and was a member of the Riverside Baptist church.
He leaves his father and mother and a grandfather, Stephen A. Bailey, also of Decatur. Funeral services held at Riverside Baptist church with burial in Graceland cemetery.
