Services were held at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church at Center City, Monday of this week at 2 pm with Rev J Walton Kempe, pastor, officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Quinton Hall, Howard Hall, Kenneth Bergland, Glendon Bergland, Donald Peterson and Marlyn Abrahamson. Interment was made at the Chisago Lake Cemetary. Phillip Lindbloom was soloist being accompanied by organist, Mrs Kempe.
Born in Franconia Twp October 23, 1862 Loth Hall was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Johanas Hall early settlers of the Long Lake community. Young Mr Hall attended the schools of the community and lived and farmed on the home place until his retirement in 1919. He was married 60 years ago in 1886 to Emma Johnson of Shafer. To this union eleven children were born eight of whom yet survive. The survivors are four daughters and four sons, namely, Mrs Walter Hanson of Shafer, Mrs Frank Peterson, Mrs Oscar Berglund and Mrs John Abrahamson, Henry, Walter, William and Raymond Hall all of this community. The deceased also leaves 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr Hall had been in excellent health up until the time of his illness two months ago. He was widely known in the Center City congregation where he had been a member all his life and also throughout the farming community where he had countless friends.
