Charles Valleskey, 88, formerly of Collins, who resided at Shady Lane Home Inc., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Collins. The Rev. Kenneth Edenhauser will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Valleskey was born June 12, 1884, at Collins, son of the late Gustave and Fredericha Matznick Valleskey. He married Helen Becker Dec. 26, 1905, at Collins. She preceded him in death in 1938.
Survivors include a son, Malcolm, of Collins; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Norma) Draheim, of Rt. 6, Fond du Lac; a brother, Gust, of Collins; three sisters, Mrs. Alvina Mahnke of Milwaukee, Mrs. Selma Allhiser, of Shawano and Mrs. Elsie Voigt, of Valders; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A daughter, three brothers, a granddaughter and a stepsister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Christianson Funeral Home, Valders, after 4 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday and then at the church until the time of service.
