Ray was the oldest child of James Harry & Livina Pearl Mariner Mathewson. He had 9 siblings Earl, Albert, Lloyd, Ward, Julia, Glenn, Ruby, Ruth, and Don. He married Helen Gunderson in Nebraska they had 4 children Pearl (Barney) James,of Saratoga WY. Richard (Edna) & Merle (Bernice) of Laramie, WY. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Karen, Daryl, Dennis & Gerald James, Carol, Sandra, and Ray Mathewson. He was preceeded in death by a son Michael, a grandson Barney James Jr. his parents and 3 brothers.Ray was a retired Railroader.
