Born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised in Ely, Nev., Florence married James L. Abbot in 1950 and moved shortly after to Levittown, where they resided for more than 55 years. She was a loving wife, mother and proud grandmother, who devoted her life in selfless service to her family.
Mrs. Abbot is survived by her loving husband, James, who faithfully cared for her throughout her illness; her eight children, Peggy Gygi (Michael) of California, James Abbot (Donna) of Illinois, Patricia Mitchiner (Robert) of Delaware, Douglas Abbot of Fairless Hills, David Abbot (Sherry) of Texas, Donna Peterson (Kim) of Utah, Nancy Seegmiller (Paul) of Utah, and Jennifer Schwab (Leon) of Levittown; her 25 grandchildren and their spouses; and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Newtown Cemetery.
