Golda was born in Colonia Diaz, Mexico to Peter Kimball Lemmon, Jr. and Lois Jeannette Tenney. She lived there with her parents until the Mexican revolution drove out all Americans in 1912.
She married John Cassell Wilkinson April 15, 1927.
