Nix, MD, of Abel. Isaac was born 15 Oct 1849 in Laurel County, KY, to Preston Goforth born TN and Malinda Lickliter [sic] born Laurel County.

George was married twice before, one ending in death 22 April 1910 and one ending in divorce 25 Oct 1918 [the day before the license].
Susan J. Gofourth residing at Taswell was born 3 June 1878 in Pulaski Co. KY, to Presley Stevens, a deceased farmer born MO, and Deba Clark born KY residing at Yoho, KY. Susan was married once before ending in his death [Isaac Goforth]. Signed by her X.

Orange County, IN, death certificate #020239:
George Washington Goforth was a retired farmer living on the farm with his son Robert in Paoli Township when he died at Clark Hospital in Paoli, Orange Co. IN, at age 77 yrs, 2 mo, 21 days, on 24 June 1957 due to nephritis of 18 months duration contributed by artero sclerosis 15 years and gangrene of the right leg which developed in 2 weeks.
George was born in Laurel County, KY, 3 April 1880 [sic] to Ezekial Goforth and Rebecca Hash.
Informant Robert Goforth. He was buried 25 June 1957 in Hardinsburg Cemetery by S. Harvey Hunter of Hardinsburg.
