Death Notices --
GOOD MAN DEAD
Mr. Marion Swygert died Sunday at his home near Haralson. Mr. Swygert was one of Meriwether's best citizens and had not yet reached his prime. His father was a most excellent man and his son walked in the footsteps of his father. He was a member of the Mount Pilgrim Lutheran Church and lead an exemplary Christian life. The Community and County always sustains a heavy loss when such men as Marion Swygert are called away. Our consolation is that our loss is his eternal gain.
Vol. 28,No. 48, November 2, 1900.
Marion and Eliza's other children:
Albert Martin Swygert
Ida Maria Swygert Nixon
Olive "Ollie" Earnestine Swygert
