Mrs. Leonard M. Reed passed to her eternal home beyond at the Northwestern hospital on Friday afternoon, March 24, the cause of death being Bright's disease superinduced by an attack of uraemia.
Mrs. Reed, nee Blanche S. Harrington, was born on September 27, 1888, on a farm about four miles northeast of Princeton, and on November 30, 1911, was married to Leonard M. Reed. Living for a time at Virginia, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Reed returned to Princeton and settled on part of the old Harrington homestead, where they lived quietly and where two dear boys came to make their life complete. To mourn her untimely death she leaves her husband; two sons, Clair, aged 6
years, and Ervin, aged 3 years; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram C. Harrington, Princeton, and E. F. Harrington, St. Cloud; two sisters, Mrs. Albert G. Larson, Cambridge; Mrs. Arthur Borneke, Blue Hill, and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Monday afternoon by Rev. S. A. Lumb, and the interment was at Oak Knoll.
Mrs. Reed was a woman of kindly disposition and was beloved and respected by all who knew her. The members of the family have the sympathy of the community in their hour of sorrow.
Leonard Reed and family extend sincere thanks to the kind neighbors and friends who assisted them during the illness and at the funeral of their beloved wife and mother, especially to Mr. Bullford and family, also for the many beautiful floral offerings.
