Services for Paul L. Adams, 77, of the Bloomington Convalescent Center and former Spencer resident, who died Saturday at Bloomington Hospital, will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the West and Parrish Funeral Home. The Rev. James T. Root will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Born July 10, 1908, in Clay City, KY., he was the son of George and Kate (Patrick) Adams. He was a retired from the Owen County Highway Department, was a World War II army veteran, and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Scantland of Tampa, Fla., and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Monroe) Adams; three sisters and one brother.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be conducted.
