Other documents point to this being an incorrect date of birth as well as disagreement among children about the date of birth. The date of birth engraved on the tombstone is about 17 months prior to the marriage (31 Oct 1878) of her parents (Edmonson County, Book 9, page 227). An Elizabeth was not listed in the household of Samuel Vincent in the 1880 census; although the 1900 census listed her birth as Jan 1880.
