Lida Logan, age 92, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Waverly Care Home in West Point, Mississippi. Graveside memorial services, with military honors, will be held Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hamilton, MS with Bro. Tony Rooks officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Ms Logan was born on Saturday, March 15, 1919 in Monroe County, MS to the late George Leonard and Mary Ann Julia Wright Logan Sr. She was a Methodist, a retired high school guidance counselor, and a WWII U. S. Army Veteran.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Nathan, George, and Miller, and her sisters, Edrie, Helen, Minnie, Nell, and Maggie.
Survivors include: Nieces and nephews.
