TOM BEAN - Services for Harry Tracy Curtis of Tom Bean, 86-year-old retired farmer who died Saturday at North Texas Medical Center in McKinney, were held Tuesday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne.
The Rev. James Crawford of Calvary Baptist Church of Sherman officiated and burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
Mr. Curtis was born in Tennessee, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Curtis, and married Edna Pearl Sullivan on August 18, 1918.
He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons, Billy Eugene Curtis of Shreveport, La., and H. L. Curtis of Tom Bean; daughter, Mary Janice Shellnut of Sherman; brother, Raymond Curtis of Sherman; sister, Viola Snowden of Houston, 18 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
