Bernard H Dallman passed away suddenly on Dec 31, 1995, at his home in Lindstrom.

Bernard was born to Charles and Ida Dallman on Dec 14, 1915, in St Paul, Minn. The family lived for many years in the Woodrow community near Centuria, Wisconsin, and later relcated to a farm near Cushing. For 30 years, Bernard and his father worked together on the family farm.

Bernard married Grace M Carlson and he then moved to Lindstrom. He was self-employed for many years in electrical, refrigerator and furnace repair. With his business, Bernard established many friends throughout the area. Following his retirement, Bernard then worked for 7-1/2 years in the Maintenance Department with the Hazelden Foundation.

Bernard was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom. He was also active in the Masonic Lodge and is remembered by family for his involvement at the many community dinners sponsored by the Lodge. He was also involved in the Shriners Club and his family remembers the many appearances he made in the community parades as a member of the Shriner Clowns. Bernard volunteered many hours with the Shriners as a clown, bringing warm smiles and joyous laughter to physically challenged children.

Other hobbies that he enjoyed included fishing and Bernard very much enjoyed the adventure of traveling. Bernard and Grace had embarked on their own pilgrimage to Sweden to visit many of the relatives that Grace still had living there. he had also recently traveled to Montana to visit many friends there.

Bernard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace; his parents, Charles and Ida Dallman and his only sister, Viola Anna Chinander.

Bernard leaves behind several relatives and many friends that he had encountered through his journey in life.

The family would like to acknowledge Ralph Peterson for all his many acts of kindness, which enabled Bernard to maintain his dignity and independent lifestyle at his home, which was very important to him.
