Killed in an Air Crash while on duty to his country. Rich mountains in Page, Oklahoma. Requiem High Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Church Charles City, Iowa on November 7th, 1945 at 9am. Celebrant was Very Rev. Thomas J Rooney. Casket Bearers were all members of the Armed Forces; Joseph Byrnes, Earl Stensath, Eugene O'Brien, John Downs, Raymond Scheoben and Myles Thomas. Military Honors; Shannon-Wilson Post American Legion. Buried at Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, Floyd Co., Iowa.
