Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kreie, nee Linda Waak, was born July 21, 1889, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Theodore and Fredericka Ruchhoeft Waak. She was married to Edwin Bruns
June 25, 1913, in the Town of Newton. He preceded her in death July 25, 1917. She was married to Herman Kreie Oct. 30, 1926, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a lifetime Manitowoc resident and member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Herman; a son, Milton Bruns, of Manitowoc; two step-sons, Norman and Carl Kreie, of Manitowoc; a step-daughter, Mrs. Orvin (Clarabelle) Sorenson, of Mishicot; two brothers, Emil and William Waak, of Manitowoc; three sisters, Miss Alma and Miss Lillian Waak, and Mrs. Harvey (Hilda) Phalen, of Manitowoc; 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. A
daughter, Marian Stanzel, a step-son, Rev. Orville Kreie, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 6 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday and from 12:30 p.m. at the church until the time of service.
