James ALexander Bain was the son of George and Jemima Bain.

He served in WWI as a Private with the Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment) in the 7th Battalion.

James was wounded in France in the Battle of the Somme.
He died in a London Hospital as a casualty of the war at the age of 20 years.
