Steve never married or had any children, he gave up that life to take care of his Mother. Steve was one of five children..three brothers..Richard,Ed and Jim and a sister Darlene. Once his Mother passed he started going to The Detroit casinos, he really enjoy it and went often, he also loved spoiling his great nieces who were his sister's granddaughters.Steve was a good guy and there wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for the people in his life. His best girl "Cookie" Judy was the love of his life in his later years. Steve had basal cell skin cancer on his head, he got a biopsy on it when it was small and then lost his insurance and never went back to have it removed, it grew over the years but Steve suffered with it because of his distrust of doctors. In 2010 Steve was having pain in the rib area of his body but would always say it was probably from the way he slept, he just would not go and see a doctor till the pain got so bad that he couldn't take it anymore, around November he finally went and found out he had stage 3 colon cancer, suffered several months and then turned to hospice,less than two weeks later he passed away at home..May he rest in peace.
