Joyce M. Schlottman, 81, formerly of Blandon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23 in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was married to the late George E. Schlottman, who passed away Dec. 3, 1992. Born in Blandon, she was the daughter of the late Ivan Heckman and Goldie (Becker) Heckman. She was a member of Maidencreek Church in Blandon.

Surviving are children: Marvin B. Schlottman and wife, Robin, of Birdsboro, George A. Schlottman, widower of Brenda Schlottman, of Fleetwood, and Violet E., widow of John L. Templin, of Blandon. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn A., wife of Warren A. Rauenzahn, of Fleetwood. There are ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. There are two sisters, Violet Koch of Orwigsburg and Marion Biehl of Temple. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roy and Marks Heckman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, with Rev. Robert G. Argot Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Maidencreek Cemetery in Blandon. Friends may call Saturday morning one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.milkinsgiles.com.
