Big John Ralph Hull was born 18 July 1923 in Red River County, Texas the son of Elbridge Hull and Clara Plant Hull and lived most of his life in the Soper area. Big John enjoyed roping and was a good judge of horses. He liked to coon and bird hunt. He also enjoyed raising cattle and horses. He was army veteran who served during World War II.
Big John was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Walt Johnson; a brother, Junior Hull and three sisters, Arvie Hull, Pauline Bumpas and Ann Hull.
Survivors include: wife, Jeanetta Ann Hull of Soper, Oklahoma; son, John W Hull and wife Sheila of Soper; two daughters, Janet A Maddox and husband Jack of Boswell and Julia M Green of Soper, Oklahoma; sister Cathryn Watson of California; four grandchildren, Lindsey Hull, John Travis Hull, Jamie Hull, and Aron Green along with many other family and friends.
