Patty Smith was born in NYC. Moved to Bethel, CT with her mom and Uncle Mac. They lived right across the street from my Grandma & Grandpa Woods. Patty's family and my grandma's go way back to Ireland. Patty never married. She lived a good life and was always happy. Patty died at the age of 46 after a long battle with cancer.
Aunt Patty gave me my first Cameo pin, and I still have it and treasure it. She was a childhood memory to me. So sweet and kind and interesting to talk to. I feel blessed to have had her in my life.
