Mrs. Beulah Aserine Ripley, 85, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in her residence.
She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Westlake and a resident of the Westlake area for 54 years. She was extremely talented as an artist and seamstress and lately made ornate aprons for the ladies of the church as a love gift.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Clyde V. Ripley of Westlake, LA; daughter, Glenda Faye Ripley Bell of San Diego, CA; son, Kenneth Clyde Ripley of Westlake, LA; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Brent, Terry, Ryan, Alan and Rachael Ripley, Kaitlyn Bell as well as 2 great grandchildren, Kelsey Brianne Ripley and Charlotte Rose Ripley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnolious Lansdell and Lillie Lansdell; son, Edward Alan Ripley; 2 sisters, Viola Stoltz and Geneva Bennett.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2011 at 1st Pentecostal Church of Westlake. Rev. Mark Stanton will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Pentecostal Church of Westlake - Missions.
