Donald Roy, 69, of Calera died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Whitfield Memorial Hospital, Demopolis, AL. He was born on Saturday, Sept. 13, 1941 in Jefferson Co., AL, son of the late Tom Avery and the late Louise Sundberg Avery. He was a sales representative.
Surviving are his wife, Jenny Avery of Calera, AL; daughter, JiJi(Morgan) Lawley of Montevallo, AL; son, Heath (Wendy) Avery of Calera, AL; 4 grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Erickson officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
