Adeline Jane (Armagost) Schriner, 83, Lincoln, died on Feb 8, 2000, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on Oct. 12, 1916, in Beaver Crossing to Walter Armagost and Mary Feme Buckingham. She was a 1932 graduate of Beaver Crossing High School and taught in rural schools in Franklin and Kearney counties for three years.

On Jan. 1, 1935, she married Frankie Schriner at Riverton. They farmed west of Beaver Crossing until 1956, when they moved to Seward.

Mrs. Schriner was a charter member of Eastern Star Chapter 156, a charter member of the Seward Business and Professional Women, and a member of the United Methodist Church. She worked at Seward Lumber for several years, retiring in 1983. Mrs. Schriner had been a resident of the Village Manor Living Center in Lincoln for the past seven years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Schriner, and her son, Garrett "Gary" Schriner.

Survivors include her son, Gene, Eric, of Colo; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Deloit Hinton, Pleasanton, Calif; daughters-in-law, Joyce Schriner, Lincoln, and Dorothy Schriner, Longmont Colo; brother and sister-in-law, Loran and Catherine Armagost, Shelton, Wash; sisters, Verna White, Beaver Crossing, and Helen Thiesen, Myrtle Point, Ore; sister-in-law, Ella Schriner, Riverton; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 11 at the United Methodist Church, Beaver Crossing, with the Rev. Mike Moyer officiating. Casket bearers were Jack Broderick, Lloyd Tesar, Terry Kamprath and Kenny, Jack and Ron White. Interment was at Beaver Crossing Cemetery.
