An Ogden woman, injured in an auto accident Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the intersection of 28th Street and Monroe Avenue in Ogden, Utah, died of her injuries Sunday morning in Thomas D. Dee Hospital.

Mrs. Nona Williams Hoyal, 36, of 3405 Jackson Avenue, died without regaining consciousness having suffered a concussion, possible fractured skull and internal injuries in the mishap.

Mrs. Hoyal was in a car with her husband, Norman , and a son, Kenneth, age 12. The victim was thrown from the vehicle by the force of the collision. Young Kenneth was slightly injured but did not require hospitalization.

According to Ogden Patrolman Keith J. Kurkdall, a car driven by Horace S. Ensign, 73, of 1448 28th Street entered the intersection and struck the rear of the northbound car driven by Mr. Hoyal.

Nona Williams Hoyal was born February 7, 1921, in San Francisco, California - a daughter of Percy Warner and Ivy Blair Williams. She was married to Norman S. Hoyal on January 29, 1942 in Salt Lake City.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active in the South Ogden Stake and California Ward Sunday School and Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association.

She is survived by her husband: Norman Samuel Hoyal, her children: Harold Norman Hoyal, Kenneth Warner Hoyal, and Janet Elaine Hoyal, two brothers: Blair E. Williams (Neva) and Robert C. Williams (Alberta), and her parents - all of Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 pm at the Aultorest Funeral Home with Bishop Clair Williams of the Ogden 37th ward conducting. Friends may call at the Aultorest Chapel of the Flowers Tuesday from 6-9 pm.
