Mr. Chas. L. Brumley, aged 52 years, died at his home at 701 Main Street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock of tuberculosis, following a lingering illness.
The deceased was a native of Alabama, but had been living in Virginia for many years. He moved to Fredericksburg from SpotsyIvania County about 3 years ago.
Mr. Brumley was a widower and leaves no children. Besides his father, Mr. John L. Brumley, one sister survives, Miss Lillian B. Brumley, of this city.
Funeral services were held from the residence Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.L. Swift.
Interment was made in the City Cemetery. The Daily Star - June 26, 1922.
