In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orville Adkins, Sr. in 2009.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed traveling, gardening, growing flowers, making crafts and cooking for a crowd. She was a loving devoted wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by a daughter Debbie Wooten; sons, John Adkins (Sandra) and Orville Adkins, Jr., all of Ashland; Sisters, Monnie Burnett, Bonnie Sargent and Betty Irwin all of Westwood; a brother, Noel Stevens of Ashland;
Grandchildren, Courtney, Aaron, Chase, Zachary and Rachel;
a great granddaughter, Isabelle Adkins; a great grandson, Bentley Auxier; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral service at Steen Funeral Home, 13th Street Chapel with Chaplain Jimm Smedley officiating. Burial in Ashland Cemetery.
