Bennie H. Anderson,62,died Friday in the Candler General Hospital in Savannah after a long illness.
The Tattnall County native was a retired farmer.
He is survived by one daughter, Miss Myrtice Anderson of Glennville; three sons, Leonard Anderson, Jackie Anderson, and Mike Anderson, all of Glennville; one sister, Mrs. Janie Ruth Blocker of Glennville; and one brother, Elton Anderson of Glennville.
Funeral services for Mr. Anderson were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Berley Welch. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were J.R. Stanfield, Ronnie Stanfield, Raiford Wilds, T.J. Barber, Wayne Stanfield, and Woodrow Tatum.
Rimes Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
