Thomas Brownfield Walker, born at Uniontown, Penn, Dec 21,1838, died in Atkinson April 18,1909, age 71 years 3 months 28 days,
He leaves a wife and three children,Mrs. Maud Merriman of St Joe, Idaho; Mrs. Anna Keirnan at O'Neill; and son Fred at Ten Sleep, Wyoming, to mourn his death.
He sered his country in the Civil War and as deputy post master at Atkinson for four years and postmaster 8 years.
He was a good neighbor, a kind loving husband and father. The funeral services were held last Tuesday at his home. and his remains were laid at rest in Woodlawn Cemetery..

Thomas B Walker, a pioneer settler and ex postmaster who has been ailing for the past year died last Sunday morning at 5 o'clock, while the end was expected for several days, the news of his death came as a shock to his large circle of friends in whose memory he will be retained as an honorable citizen and a friend and loving neighbor.
