Mrs. Alexander, 64, of Charlotte, died December 23, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Parkwood C.M.E. Church, Rev. Roderick Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Alexander and one sister, Mrs. Minnie N. Marshall.
Survivors are her daughters, Ann L. Alexander, Belinda Yvonne Johnson, Ernestine Alexander, Gina Alexander and Faye A. Weathers; sons, Alfred L. Alexander, Robert L. Alexander and wife Ruby, and Michael R. Alexander; brothers, Charlie Nichols and wife Carolyn, William Nichols and Robert L. Nichols and wife Nell; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
