VICTIM OF SUBWAY CRASH SUCCUMBS

Victim of a crash Saturday at a miner subway abutment, Albert E. Groff, 40, 2215 E. Acacia, died last night in Vanosse Hospital.

Groff sufferd a head injury when the panel truck he was driving struck the abutment. Pvt. Albert Gasperlin, 23, Stockton Field soldier, who was riding with Groff, is recovering from cuts and bruises at Stockton Field hospital.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of B. C. Wallace & Son.
