An unfortunate accident occurred here Thurs. night. JAMES O'CONNELL, section foreman on the railroad between Manitowoc and Two Rivers, a resident here in Two Rivers, left his second floor bedroom window open that night because of the heat. Apparently he got up during the night to close the window and somehow fell to the street. He was found there unconscious. Local and Manitowoc doctors were summoned, but he died Sat.
He had come here from Iowa and on Sun. his body was sent there for burial. The local Catholic Knights escorted the casket to the station. He leaves a widow and one daughter.
