Annie Carroll was the daugther of Phillip and Priscilla Carroll of Carroll County, MS. Her first husband was James Adams (born in Ireland) and known children were Patrick Henry, Mary, Tommie and Phillip. After James's death she married Morris Myers in 1899 in Leflore County, MS. In 1900 Annie and Morris lived in Kosciusko and in 1910 they lived in Columbus. Living with them was Annie's mother Priscilla, with whom she shares a tombstone. The name on the tombstone is spelled Maers, but all censuses indicate the name was Myers.

Annie's son Patrick Henry Adams lived in St. Louis for a while, where he registered for the draft in 1917. He eventually moved to Harrison County, MS. He died on April 18, 1961 and is buried in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. His wife Phamie Helen is also buried there, as is his daughter Edder Muriel who died in 1993, a spinster, and his daughter Mary Louise Lizana who died in 2012.

Annie's son Phillip moved to Memphis, TN where he registered for the draft in 1917. He was living with his Aunt Mary Magadaline Cassidy when the 1920 census was taken. He died on April 10, 1920 in Memphis. He shares a tombstone with his cousin Mary Ellen Cassidy.

Annie's daughter Mary married J. S. Abbey and lived in Pascagoula, MS.

Nothing is known of Annie and John's son Thomas "Tommie".
