Amasa Watts, Formerly of Near Bristol, Succumbs
Amasa Watts, aged between 50 and 60 years, who was a brother of T.Z. Watts of near Cassopolis, and a second cousin of J.A. Watts of 323 West Lexington avenue, this city, died in Idaho Falls, Idaho, last Sunday. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy following an attack of typhoid fever. Mr. Watts formerly lived near Bristol, and his body will be brought to that place next Sunday for burial. His brother, T.Z. Watts, left for Idaho Falls last Monday to bring the body. Amasa Watts spent last winter and a part of last summer with is brother near Cassopolis.
Besides the brother mentioned Mr. Watts is survived by three brothers, Orvie, Harry and Charles Watts, who are in the west; a sister, Mrs. Tillie Hartsler of Cassopolis, and two daughters, who are in Oklahoma.
