Leonard J. Steinmiller, 79, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Leonard was born on November 30, 1929, to Leonard A. and Thelma (Albarado) Steinmiller in Toledo. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen (McGraw); children, Bernard (Kimberly), Mary Ach (Kole Sterling), Timothy (Dawn); Ann Hinz (Jerry); his son and caregiver, Christopher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road (419-473-0300). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6135 Hill Ave. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
