JOHN T. BENSON DIES; DOVER FRUIT BROKER
"Dover, Dec. 19 - (Special) - Funeral services for John T. Benson, 45, a fruit broker of near Dover, will be held from Grace Chapel of Wesley Methodist Church tomorrow at 2 PM.
The Rev. Willard S. McGinnis, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Torbert Funeral Home tonight.
Mr. Benson, who had been in failing health for some time, died Wednesday night in the Delaware Hospital, Wilmington, where he had been a patient since Monday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Benson, and his mother, Mrs. Amanda Scott Benson, near Dover. His father was the late Alden John Benson."
