George Henry Bonham 78, long time Okmulgee Resident and businessman died in Tulsa Tuesday, June 10, 2003. George was born in Cribbs, Oklahoma on September 27, 1924 to Bill Raymond and Mattie (Aching) Bonham. Mr. Bonham owned and operated Bonham's Termite and Pest Control for 52 years. Preceding him in death was his first wife Jane Ellen Bonham.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mary Lou Bonham of the home, three sisters Hazel Bonham of Bald Hill, Oklahoma, and Mildred and Velma, two brother in laws Buddy Davis and Gene Kiser of Okmulgee, four sister in laws Lily Mae Kiser, Norma Lee Davis, Ramona Davis, and Frances Ausbrooks all of Okmulgee, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 13, 2003 at 10 am at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Vernon will officiate. Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11-8 pm.
Pallbearers will be Carl Martin, Bill Delso, David Hamilton, Stoney Martin, Dwayne Ausbrooks, and Danny Ausbrooks.
