ELIAS C. ACOSTA TAKEN BY DEATH
Elias Carlos Acosta, 67, native of Mexico and resident of San Luis Obispo, died yesterday afternoon in a local hospital following a short illness.
Born on March 4, 1888, in Huejucar Jalisco, he had been a resident of this community for the past 15 years.
Mr. Acosta is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Josephine Escobedo, Mrs. Bessie Quesada and Miss Amelia Acosta, all of San Luis Obispo and Miss Lupe Acosta of Santa Clara; a son, Miguel Acosta of San Luis Obispo; two sisters in Mexico, and 12 grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tomorrow night in the R.F. Richardson company funeral chapel with requiem mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Old Mission. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
